- Avoid wearing make-up at least 12 hours after the procedure.
- Don’t go for a hot bath since your skin is a bit reddish. The shower should be quick with warm water not hot.
- Avoid applying any topical creams unless is advised by Mrs. Lupachov.
- Use umbrella, caps and other things that can keep your skin away from direct exposure from sunlight.
- Make sure you wash your skin and keep it clean.
- Ensure the pillowcase you use is fresh and clean.
- Avoid dust and pets near your skin.
- For the next two days use plenty of moisturiser and a simple sun screen.
- Make up is ok but use only your fingertips for the application.
- Please avoid creams like anti acne or anti-ageing like alpha hydroxy acid, retinols or vitamin C for the next 4 days and nights.
- Do not pick on your skin.
- Stay away from heat, like fireplaces, oven, or stove.
You may experience a slight redness and possibly minimal swelling. It should resolve by itself and fade away within minutes to hours. Do not pick on your skin ! Redness is a simple sensitivity to the procedure.
Just like any other procedure, you will have to experience some side-effects.
If the Micronedeling treatment is combined with chemical peel, you might experience extra dryness and in some cases peeling as well, it is part of the treatment and is totally normal, you should moisturize the skin every hour if needed.
However when you look at it at the brighter side, it is only temporary and will be resolved afterwards. That is why aftercare treatment is instructed so that you won’t have to worry about these problems later on.
At first, there will be slight discomfort, but after the healing process, you will see the amazing results. Your skin care problems like acne, wrinkles, scars, so on will be improved and the symptoms will be lessened. More so, you will look younger than your actual age.
